Media ESL Program

This program was designed for upper intermediate level students who wish to improve their English skills through using the media as a tool. Students who are interested in the media and its influence on our society would greatly benefit from this course. The focus of the class is on COMMUNICATION and LISTENING. You will gain the confidence needed to succeed in becoming a strong English speaker.

• News/Journalism
• Music
• Pop Culture
• Magazines
• Internet

Schedule: One month, 9am to 3pm (five hours of instruction), Monday to Friday.

Media English Program
Levels Accepted:	Intermediate level and higher
Schedule:	Full-time, 5.0 hours/day, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Lessons:	25.0 hours per week
Start Date:	A new class begins each Monday (except Canadian holidays).
Course Length:	4 weeks
Group Size:	Minimum 4, maximum 12 students per class
Note: Minimum number of students to start a class is four (4).

*Please note: this course requires weekly presentations (speeches) and tests, with a final exam at the end of the month. Students who complete this course will receive a certificate.
